Cala Bassa

Cala Bassa is at 9 km away from San Antonio, located between Penyal and Cap de la Bassa.We take the road from Sant Josep to Sant Antoni and then, some 300 metres after the Sant Agusti crossroads, we turn left onto a road that will take us to Cala Bassa. Access by car is easy following the signs and detours. It can also be reached using public transport, whose nearest bus stop is located at just 40 metres away.

This incredible beach is characterized by being a creek with irregular coastline. It is surrounded by low cliffs and pine trees, it has large size, fine-grained golden sand, clear and calm water, gentle slope and also good tourist service offer. The marine and underwater conditions are suitable for diving and for anchoring boats. There are two drafting areas, one to the west - two hectometres away from the sandy area, over a ground of algae of 12 metres deep - and other on the east, in a rocky bay over a bed of rocks and algae with a distance from surface ranging from 8 to 15 metres.
